As the OTECSA team grows our new headquarters has officially opened in Glasgow at 527 Clarkston Road, Muirend.
OTECSA was founded in 2018 and since then we have been busy working away from wherever our consultants are based. However with growth over the last year the business have taken the leap and opened our first physical office.
Glasgow Base
The new HQ offers a base for our team to work from in the leafy Southside of Glasgow, close to our initial home in Giffnock. Close to local transport such as Muirend train station, the M77 and M74 motorways the HQ provides working space for our growing team of engineers and a meeting and training space for work with our clients.
Curious Beginnings
The HQ was previously home to Muirend News, a local favourite for the Muirend residents newspapers and magazines. In the past few years it has been home to a kitchen showroom. As our team went through the process of transforming the space into a modern, comfy office space the locals came flocking. Will it be a gift shop? Or a coffee shop? Surely not an office?
In mid September though, following the refit our new signage finally went up, dispelling the local rumours about what might be opening up. The OTECSA website took a bump in traffic, and the residents of Muirend suddenly became aware of a thing called “Safety Engineering”.
