What we need
- Someone with a desire to work differently. We aren’t your typical company and you wont find us in suits or shirts and ties. We believe work should be challenging, fun and rewarding,
- Degree qualified in a safety or risk related field, no minimum level of experience is asked for, just the right attitude and knowledge of some of our key areas of work,
- Experience or knowledge of risk assessment methodology including our main areas of activity: HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, DSEAR and HAC. You don’t need to be an expert or a leader, we can teach you that, but you need to learn and know your acronyms and understand chemical engineering fundamentals.
- A desire for learning and development, we’re looking for someone to join us on our adventure to provide expertise across all areas of Process, Safety and Risk Engineering,
- An excellent typist, operator of MS Office systems and technical report writer, with an ability to concisely capture technical discussion,
- A willingness to travel. Although much of our work is desktop based, our clients are all over the UK, Europe and further afield and we may need to be able to travel to their sites from time to time,
- Although location is no barrier (our team is spread throughout Scotland), a lot of our client base is in Central Scotland, so an ability to reach this area would be a great benefit,
- An entrepreneurial mindset; we welcome ingenuity, innovation and people with direction. If you have a passion for a certain type of work which fits our business model, we will support it.
What we offer
- Total flexibility – no core hours, no stuffy office, no timesheets, freedom and support to work where you want,
- IT – all the computing power you will need to carry out your job,
- Unrivalled benefits – competitive salary, generous holidays, annual bonus opportunities, overnight allowance, pension contributions, professional subscriptions,
- Career progression – training to support development in specialist and generalist areas, mentorship, access to our wide range of associate experts in all areas of engineering, room for growth in an entrepreneurial environment.
